Here's how:

Pass a Resolution calling for an end to death sentencing and investment in public safety. Download a sample resolution and instructions for how to pass. Some groups that have passed a resolution are:

Sign the Online Petition and gather more signatures. Sign the online petition, or download a copy of the petition.
Hold a candidate forum and ask the right questions! Download Sample Questions on the Death Penalty for District Attorney Candidates.
Join our Letter- and Blog- Writing Team and make a difference by writing letters to newspaper editors or writing about death penalty issues on your blog. Send us an email to learn more about these opportunities and to join our team.

Volunteer at an Event to support SCCCADP efforts to raise awareness about the problems of the death penalty in Santa Clara County. If you are interested in volunteering, please email us.
Bring a Speaker to your community, classroom or congregation. We can provide a wide range of speakers who can address the flaws with the death penalty including: wrongfully convicted people, survivors of murder victims, former prosecutors or law enforcement, clergy, and experts.
